Reviews
I’ve been looking for a great japanese/ramen restaurant in Rome for a while, and Hokusai Ramen has it all!
The location is great and in love with the design of the restaurant. It also has a small Japanese store with many cute things!
Gyozas were great. I LOVED Takoyakis here and everything about the ramen was incredible!
There’s a great variety to choose from on the menu and I’ll visit again for sure.
There are also some great desserts that are quite difficult to find in restaurants in Italy.
Definitely a must!
Ordered take away. Arrived spoiled brown eggs and spaghetti molded (see green in the photo)!!! never order again! BAD QUALITY !!! POISON!!!
Definitely enjoyed the Ramen here. This place was legit even if the location seems a little industrial. If you're craving some ramen though, it's worth the trip. Good selection, very savoury broth, and quality ingredients! The waiter spoke English and Italian. You can also get some fun kitsch on the inside. Worth it!
A wonderful place to visit if you're on the lookout for ramen and other japanese dishes. Ramen, okonomiyaki, takoyaki, tonkatsu, dango, everything was wonderful and delicious from start to finish. It may seem a bit pricey, but the quality of the dish makes it worth it. Premiato dal Gambero Rosso.
We loved the atmosphere, the japanese merch around the restaurant, the videos on display and the japanese music playing.
It was a bit hot inside on this summer period, ac could be kicked up just a little notch to be more comfortable.
Ok, time is passed and we are here again and was a truly happy and delicious dinner! We will came back for sure!
Previously: "What to say ... The owner is gentle and love it's work. The employee are gentle too. The place is informal and lovely. The food? Simply great! We will be back!"
Best Ramen I have ever eaten!
So glad to have found this place- the ramen was absolutely amazing. Delicious broth and noodles perfectly cooked. We also tried the ravioli and it was also very delicious but maybe a little salty. I wish they put a little less salt in it, as usually we have it by dipping in the soy sauce which adds to the salt. Kind and friendly service from the staff. Would definitely come back here !
I m giving Ramen only 3 stars, too spicy and salty
Takoyaki delicious, 4 starts
